As one of the only original butchers remaining at the Prahran Market, our focus has always been about providing quality products to our customers. Neil himself is still heavily involved in the business, personally inspecting each animal to ensure it is up to his standard. Once they have been processed, he checks each one again to ensure only the best meat gets into our store.
At Neil’s Meats, we choose all of the meat ourselves because we are passionate about providing top quality meat to our customers. We specialise in beef, lamb, pork and veal. Our beef and lamb is dry aged on the bone, on-site, in order to keep the tenderness and flavour. All of our sausages, burgers and sauces are made on-site, using all natural ingredients. And we even have a range of gluten free products available.
We are the only butcher in the Prahran Market to have to have our own smoking oven in store. This allows us to cook and smoke magnificent honey cured hams and bacon. We can also smoke and cook racks of lamb, legs of lamb and anything else you may want.
